These fonts were all downloaded to my computer from various websites on the internet. My favorite sites have links below to help get you started.

Let's face it, residents typically aren't too fond of having to read. So when choosing a font for your bulletin board, you need to find something that will catch their eyes. Here are my general rules and suggestions for picking fonts:
1. Never (ever, ever, ever, ever) pick a font that student would use in a paper. If they've had to look at it while writing a paper or doing homework, they won't want to read it.
2. Download interesting fonts! I always search around for new fonts to add to my computer and I usually am able to find them free for download. These add a lot of spice to your boards.
3. Make the important stuff bigger. Even if residents only read the large print information, they should still be able to get the general idea of the board. If it interests them, they will stop and read the smaller print.
4. Keep your boards interactive! Whether this be through actual interactive boards, or prizes for finding small details in the board. A few examples of things that could win prizes would include:
- if a resident find an error in the board
- if a residents find the #hashtag that was hidden on the board and tweet at the RA using it
- if a resident find the hidden "Waldo" on the board
There are lots of other ways to do this, but these are a few ideas.
